Formerly called 'Prince Arthur' in 1869 and 'Pride of the West', now known as 'Doyles Tavern' it has been in the same family for over 25 years.

In Spring 2018 the Beer Garden was transformed into an oasis of tranquility a world away from the hussle and bussle of Caledonian Road which was followed in January 2019 with a major refurbishment project to modenise the bar.
